Open Question: Are letter of recommendations a definite must for colleges?

I have applied at Alverno college, Carroll university, and Marquette university (all located in Wisconsin, US). Does anyone know if letter of recommendations are a required part of the applications? My guidance counselor told me recommendations are only needed if the rest of the application doesn't impress them enough I guess you could say. Now I'm starting to doubt her.... Read More »
